Satisfaction is not restricted to the methods, techniques, and knowledge of one culture or tradition. It is truly American Cooking – Sharing the BEST of the World on our plates.
Satisfaction is a book that is 98% written. It is a very lengthy book. One can make a lot of recipes in 25 years. It has all of the courses. This online sharing endeavor begins with broths, ‘Basics of Base.’ Began in the winter. A gift of a beautiful cabbage led to, ‘Foundation Ingredients – Cabbage.’ Loretta Dough, though, had to be the first foundation technique. Diverting into compotes and tarts with the advent of spring. Which are necessary to compliment Loretta Dough and will lead to Sorbets and Ice Cream for summer
‘Just Desserts’ is just beginning with Loretta Dough and Capture the Season in a Compote. Next, for summer, will be Sorbets & Ice Creams. Custards and Compotes give the base methods for both.

It has taken quite awhile to figure out what it is that gives me meaning. What it is I think I need from life to flourish. What lets my soul be satiated. At least momentarily. I will admit to believing, long ago, that with enough money anyone could be happy. Or maybe it was wanting to believe this. It would be the easiest way to exist. Wouldnโt it? Get the money. Get the Happiness. It turns out thereโs no getting out of the work if you want to go to Heaven. More importantly, setting out to create something and having it exceed your expectations is for me, very satisfying.
Instead of pursuing money, as we are groomed young to do. Before you pursue money for money’s sake. Ask yourself what you want most of all in life. Love? Friendship? The biggest house in the neighborhood? Some things require money and some do not.
The pursuit of anything will take your precious time.
Simple is Relative I suppose. Life is simple if you know where your goal posts are.
You will be much happier if you keep it simple.
Feed your Brain. Nourish others. Give more than you get. You will be satisfied more often than not.
