Love Lived

“For every good deed you do, you get a gold brick for your home in Heaven.”

– Loretta McKinley

Loretta saw the best in everyone. She greeted everyone with a smile and a hug. I don’t think she ever really got mad. She laughed at the things that should have made her mad at the much younger me anyway.

These days when I think about her I can’t help but smile. I have so many funny memories with her. Sometimes I feel like she is giving me a hug. I know she will always be here with me.

Always Bring a Gift

Toasties. Loretta’s food gift in later years. Above is my version of her toasties from 2009. Loretta’s were very addictive though. A spray of oil and a sprinkle of Tony Cachere’s Seasoning. Ask the bakery to cut your baguette.
